Festive Jell-o Popcorn Balls

¼ cup butter or margarine
6 cups Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmallows
1 pkg. (85 g) Jell-O Jelly Powder, any flavour
12 cups popped popcorn
1 cup peanuts (optional)
  Decorations such as candy sprinkles

  1. Place butter and marshmallows in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1½ to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed.
  2. Add dry jelly powder; stir until well blended.
  3. Pour over combined popcorn and peanuts in large bowl; stir until evenly covered.
  4. Shape into 14 balls with greased hands, using about 1 cup of the popcorn mixture for each ball.
  5. Add decorations as desired.
